It is the mission of the Moniteau County R-1 Schools to equip our students to be productive citizens who will have positive attitudes and be value oriented, career directed, competent in communications, capable of problem-solving, skillful in creative and critical thinking, and knowledgeable of business and technology for future challenges and the 21^st century.

Student Achievement Goal 1:  The Moniteau County R-1 School District will provide all students with the skills and knowledge necessary to successfully meet the demands of their future.

Facility Safety and Development Goal 2:  The Moniteau County R-1 School District will provide a safe, superior, and functional educational environment that serves the needs of the community.

School and Community Partnership Goal 3:  The Moniteau County R-1 School District will be a leader in promoting, facilitating, and enhancing parent, student, and community involvement to achieve student success.

High Quality Staff Development Goal 4:  The Moniteau County R-1 School District will create a culture that ensures a qualified, effective, and knowledgeable professional educator in every position.

Governance Goal 5:  The Moniteau County R-1 School District will be governed in an efficient and effective manner by providing leadership and optimizing resources to benefit the students, staff, and patrons of the district for improved student success while remaining financially sustainable.
