The Moniteau County R-1 School District's (California, MO) substitute teacher qualifications include a high school diploma, 60 college credit hours and a Content Substitute certificate from DESE.
The California School District pays $85 per day for substituting, and pay can increase to $201.39 per day for long-term placement.

The 20 hours of online training to be a substitute teacher is now available through Frontline Education. A Content Substitute certificate may now be granted to an individual who has successfully completed a minimum of twenty (20) clock hours of department-approved substitute teacher training.
